TBT: Our Surprise Baby Shower!

Hello Lovely!

Today’s post is long over due! If you are following me on Instagram, then you know our girls have arrived. They were born on September 9th, which was five weeks earlier than we expected! Thankfully, they did not need to spend any time in the NICU 🙏. I think it’s safe to say that we underestimated how much work taking care of newborn twins is. I have so much respect for all of the mothers out there, and I now understand why they say that being a stay at home mom is the hardest job in the world. My days revolve around feeding, burping, changing, cleaning, and soothing these girls. I try to squeeze in as much tummy time and reading throughout the day as possible, but some days we just do not achieve everything I would like to.

Despite the physical and mental exhaustion, I am so thankful to have two healthy and beautiful babies! I know this newborn phase will not last forever, so I am just trying to make the most of every moment I have with them and soak everything in. Anyways, for todays post, I wanted to share some photos from the surprise baby shower my mom, aunt, cousin, and grandma threw for us back in August! It was beyond magical, and I honestly cannot thank them enough for putting it all together! So, without further ado, here are the photos!

Can you believe my aunt made this gorgeous cake?! It tasted even better than it looked!

Twin sandwich! I really hope our girls are as beautiful (inside and out) as these two!

Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate this special time in our lives! We have the most amazing friends and family and we love you all so much!

Yours Truly, Victoria
