Hello Lovely!

If you follow me on Instagram, or saw my Valentine’s Day Gift Guides for Him and Her, then you’ve probably already seen the Veja sneakers I recently gifted myself! I had been eyeing them for some time, and finally decided to get a pair for spring! What I love about this brand is that their sneakers are made with socially and environmentally responsible materials and processes. Not only do they use fair trade and organic raw materials, they also pay fair wages to everyone involved in the production process! I also love how simplistic, yet chic, the overall design is!

I have been wearing them around the house to “break them in”, while simultaneously breaking my own house rule of no shoes inside 🙈! Luckily, they are still clean since I haven’t worn them outside yet. They are quite stiff right now, especially the tongue, but I can already feel them softening up! I’ve also found that if I tie the top string of my laces behind the tongue (prior to tying my bow), it completely lifts it off of my skin and I don’t experience any rubbing!
