Happy Friday! I cannot believe it is officially September. The temperature has started to cool down & the leaves are already beginning to change colors 🍂. Fall is certainly in the air. While I love summer, I think fall may be my favorite season in Illinois. The scenery is beautiful & the temperature is just right.
Today, I am going to be sharing some of my favorite beauty products that I am using as we transition into fall. You may recognize some of them from my previous post here. Others are new additions, like the Estée Lauder Double Matte Oil-Control Pressed Powder & Pure Color Envy Sculpting Gloss. Normally, I use Laura Mercier’s Translucent Setting Powder, but I decided to give Estée Lauder’s mattifying powder a try after reading the incredible reviews. To be honest, this product has exceeded my expectations! What I love most about this product is that it keep my normally oily T-Zone matte & does not leave my skin with a grey or "ghostlike" finish. Since I still have my summer tan right now, I have been using this powder in the color Medium Deep & it matches my skin tone perfectly. This product can be used over foundation to set your makeup, or it can be used over moisturizer and/or concealer for a more natural look. I am so happy I tried it & will begin testing out the lighter shades as my tan begins to fade.
Also, how gorgeous is the shimmer in this lip gloss 😍? The color shown in the photos above is called Reckless Bloom. It is a gorgeous dusty rose color & might just be my new favorite gloss. While I usually end up layering it over this lipstick, the gloss looks just as beautiful on its own. I cannot wait to try the other colors from this line!
